Loft
Insulating your loft is one of the most effective ways of saving energy. You could save up to £155 per year on bills and around 1 tonne of CO2 per year. If you have minsulation that’s over 10 years old then the chance is that it’s too thin – you need up to 270mm to meet modern standards. Over 10 million homes in the UK still don’t have the right levels of loft insulation or cavity wall insulation.
