QED's range of Vapour Phase Inhibitors (VPI) products provide a simple, cost effective method of protecting ferrous and non-ferrous metal products from the effects of corrosion. Independent laboratory tests have demonstrated the ability of VPI's to protect against corrosion in damp atmospheres in the following situations;

  • Inserted in concrete structures to combat rebar / reinforcement corrosion

  • Storage of drill piping, protection of box girders and pipes for civil engineering use

  • Protection of marine hulls in shipbuilding

  • Protection of Oil & Gas Pipelines from corrosion

  • Protection of high value products such as car, marine and jet engines during storage

  • Protection of heat exchangers, gear boxes and boilers

  • Corrosion protection of high value, cold rolled steel during transportation
