LANDPAC is a leading international ground improvement specialist with a tradition for innovation and excellence dating back to the 1980's. LANDPAC provides the construction industry with specialised technically advanced solutions to improve the engineering properties of in-place soils at depth.
LANDPAC Ground engineering is the UK operating company offering a full package of deep in-situ ground improvement services.
LANDPAC has revolutionised in-situ ground improvement with the introduction of the unique High Energy Impact Compaction (HEIC) application with the enhancement of the companies innovative Continuous Impact Response (CIR) and Continuous Induced Settlement (CIS) monitoring systems to the world market since the 1990s.
LANDPAC HEIC application is an effective mechanism for executing a controlled process of dynamic loading to considerable depths, directly onto deep in-situ fills and weak natural soils. HEIC is appropriate for Brownfield and problem ground development sites within the industrial, commercial and residential development industries.
LANDPAC CIR is a specialised technique for digitally recording real time soil response during the HEIC process. Each impact, during drum rotation, is recorded, in terms of impact drum deceleration, relative to its position on site as determined by an integrated GPS system. Actual soil test results obtained at specific locations can therefore be interpolated over the entire site. The CIR can effectively monitor 100% of the site during the HEIC process.
The CIS is a specialised technique for recording real time induced settlement during the HEIC process. CIS is measured using an integrated GPS system. The CIS can be very effectively used to monitor changes in the site levels as induced settlement is created. The CIS can effectively record site levels for 100% of the site during the HEIC process.
LANDPAC HEIC treatment with CIR verification and CIS monitoring offers the benefit of a monitored uniform application across 100% of the treated site area, achieving significant effective depths of improvement and considerable increases in the in-situ soil strength.
LANDPAC is strategically placed and structured with modern management teams to handle projects on a world wide and local basis. LANDPAC headquarters are in Johannesburg - South Africa, with key operating centres in the UK, Australia and China.
