The Step by Step Guide to a no sinkage, virtually weed free beautiful installation by CREATIVE CONCRETE for domestic driveways, paths and Patios.

CREATIVE CONCRETE driveways, paths and patios are planned and prepared with the utmost care and attention to detail.



Step 1 - Setting Levels
One of the most important aspects in the preparation is to ensure that water is dispersed correctly.

Step 2- Excavate Existing Area
In preparation an excavation of 8 inches is critical for a long lasting and durable finish.

Step 3- Drainage
Different types of drains are installed depending on individual circumstances.



Step 4- Sub Base
4 inches of type one scalpings are critical for maximum compaction.

Step 5- Concrete
4 inches of a highly specialised mix of air entrained, Fibrin 23 Concrete is used for printing purposes.

Step 6- Colour
2 coats of the chosen colour / hardener are applied.



Step 7- Release Agent / Second Colour Application
An additional colour is applied aiding imprinting and colour contrast.

Step 8- Imprinting Block Borders
This enhances the overall finish and appearance of any installation.

Step 9- Pattern Imprinting
A large range of beautiful patterns are available to complement any home created by highly skilled pattern imprinters.

Step 10- Sealing
Finally using a matt or gloss anti-slip sealer as protection against chemicals, fuels, weathering etc.
