Systems
Skimcoat
Arena has developed the Skimcoat product over the last 30 years as a refurbishment material for old worn floors. It was originally designed for use on top of bituminous products and has since been modified for use on concrete. Skimcoat is a cementitious, polymer modified hard wearing screed that is usually laid at a thickness of between 1 and 3mm.
Latexfalt
Laid between 8 and 50mm in thickness, Latexfalt is a cold blended material based on selected hard rock and mineral fillers, bonded with a modified bituminous material. Over the past 35 years, Latexfalt has successfully been applied in most of the major exhibition halls throughout the UK including over 195,000m2 at the National Exhibition Centre. The varied locations in which Latexfalt has been installed: Bridge decks; ice rinks; warehouses; tennis courts make use of the anti-static insulating, flexible and resilient characteristics which are testimony to the versatility of Latexfalt. At the National Exhibition Centre over 4 million visitors traffic Latexfalt. Each new exhibition puts more demand on the floor, continual fixing of stands by nailing, screwing or even just point loading would normally pose a problem to most floor finishes. Latexfalt easily solves these problems with flexibility. This material quickly self heals ready for further usage, heavy duty Latexfalt is also available where higher compressive strengths are required. Latexfalt is surely the most adaptable flooring product in our range.
Amecrete
Amecrete flooring is a well established material designed for both the repair of badly worn floor slabs and for the increased performance often required in new building projects. Normally laid in thickness between 12 and 16mm, Amecrete is coloured to your choice and produces a quick non slip surface with excellent resistance qualities. In excess of 90,000m2 of Amecrete polymer flooring over the past 35 years has been used in various situations including fish markets, food warehouses and high reach aisleways. Arena has a complete design, supply and fix package tailored to meet the particular requirements of each individual customer.
Coatings
Arena coatings provide protection to walls and floors from chemical attack and abrasion. We supply and install non-taint coatings for food preparation areas, impregnation materials to resist carbonation and intumescent coatings for heat resistance. This comprehensive range has been designed to meet the challenging demands of industry and the requirements of today’s strict health and safety regulations. If highlighting safety area and walkways or promoting corporate colours is important, we are able to match any British Standard reference you choose.
Epoxy and Polyurethane
We at Arena have successfully been established in the application of Epoxy and Polyurethane Systems from coatings to self-smooth resin flexible decking and screeds for all types of industry. We offer a comprehensive service dealing with full consultancy and specification of your project.
