HRS is an independent company offering building supplies in Sheffield, Nottinghamshire, Derbyshire and other parts of the East Midlands, to major builders and property developers, professional tradesmen and DIY enthusiasts alike.

HRS stocks building products from all of the major manufacturers and can place orders for any materials not held in stock. As well as a wide range of new and reclaimed building supplies, we offer specialist roofing services based on unrivalled expertise and our roots in the roofing trade.

We are conveniently located off the A38, just one mile from junction 28 of the M1. We serve the whole of the East Midlands, Derbyshire, Lincolnshire, Sheffield, and South Yorkshire and will deliver to your site in our own fleet of vehicles, which are suitable for off-loading by crane.

Because we understand that the needs of large corporate clients and DIY enthusiasts are very different, we supply materials, bagged, bulk or palleted, in quantities to suit your building project. And whatever the size of your order, our relationship with building supplies manufacturers means we can always offer very competitive rates.

As well as all of the materials and accessories you need, HRS also provides a complete roofing service to the end user from design through to final completion of works, from the largest roof to the smallest repair.

We can ensure that you obtain the best prices for your roofing work and, more importantly, the peace of mind that the roofing contractors we use are the best time-served craftsmen in the area.

New Roofs
Whether you’re undertaking a self-build project but want to enlist a professional roofing service or you’re a property developer or building contractor looking for a partner to undertake the roofing installation for your building work, you can rely on HRS for a professional service.

We can take care of everything. All you need to provide is a full set of plans and our team will do the rest from quantity estimating and a full, detailed quotation to allow you to budget accurately, to the provision of materials. All prices will include for delivery to site, provided hard access is available.

Alternatively, if there are elements of the roofing work you’d prefer to undertake yourself you can simply choose just the HRS services you need.

Re-roofing
As with new roofing contracts, we can provide a full quantity estimate and a detailed, no obligation quote for labour. HRS will supply all necessary roofing materials and can recommend a quality roofing contractor who could carry out the job required.

We will start with an on-site survey in conjunction with the Building Regulation Approval service. Always an important part of the process, this survey is essential when changing the roof covering from slate to tile to ensure that we properly understand the structure of the building, can identify any risk and agree suitable materials.

Reclaimed Roofing Materials
If you do not wish our roofing contractors to re-use materials stripped from your old roof, our Reclaim Department will give you a quote for the value of any reusable resources. Our contractors will co-ordinate the removal of the reusable roofing materials and ensure your site is left in a good clean condition when the work has been completed.
