Started over 27 years ago, Vale employs over 130 staff in the design and manufacture of bespoke conservatories.

To many people, the Georgian house is considered the archetypal English home. We therefore take great pleasure in designing in this style, whether it be on a new build, a modest townhouse or one of the larger more imposing classical buildings.

The Victorian Era saw the design and building of some of the most magnificent properties throughout the country. The attention to detail in these buildings makes creating an addition for this period of property a particularly creative and enjoyable exercise.

Whilst Vale are best known for the many large and complex projects undertaken, we are frequently involved in designing and building smaller structures where the same attention to design and detail is applied. The smallest of spaces can be used to create a valuable and unique addition to any home.

Most of our clients prefer a fully glazed structure. However, for some the balance of a solid insulated roof and glazed sides will better meet their requirements. The feeling of light and space is still achieved in these rooms.

SPECIFICATION AND DETAIL
Our conservatories are erected worldwide and consequently are subject to a wide variety of weather conditions with dramatic temperature changes and often high humidity. For this reason it is vital that correct fine quality timbers are used. Traditional techniques in carpentry are strictly adopted in conjunction with the finest materials and authentic detail to produce a structurally sound building with a long life expectancy.

At Vale, we have developed a unique roofing system combining timber with metal. With this we are able to achieve greater strengths and spans incorporating double glazed units between fine glazing rafters. Advantages of a technically advanced roofing system are achieved without compromising on traditional.

For an effective and traditional method of heating a conservatory, Vale offer a variety of cast iron floor grilles supplied painted black or left untreated for the client to finish as they prefer. The grilles sit onto an aluminium angle support with a brass insert.
