OUR QUALIFICATIONS
Intruder Alarms are our core business, we have been installing good quality reliable systems for over 25 years. All our work has been carried out to British Standard 4737 and now the new European Standard EN50131 and PD6662 : 2004. We first achieved accreditation in 1996 and have been designated NSI NACOSS GOLD since 2004. We have had a Certificate of Quality Assurance to BS EN ISO 9002:1994 and NACOSS Quality Schedule SSQS 101 since September 2001.

Argus Security Systems LTD Provide a range of maintenance regimes and contracts to suit your own and your insurers requirements.
We offer a range of contracts for INTRUDER ALARMS, CCTV, ACCESS CONTROL, FIRE ALARMS & EMERGENCY LIGHTING. With benefits such as fixed price terms, short cancellation periods & fully comprehensive cover. We offer Police & Fire brigade Response, free anti code re sets, upload, download facility and call out coverage for most of England & North Wales.
Argus Security Audits
Argus can review your security systems and equipment and provide a complete audit in terms of protection and the functionality of your system.
We will undertake a complete analysis of your current scheme and advise you of any alterations or additions that may be required to ensure the effectiveness of your system.
Police Response
Argus Security Systems are a NACOSS NSI Gold approved company with over 25 years experience in design and installation of security systems. This qualifies Argus to design, install and maintain Police response systems for all of our customers.
All new monitored installations will need to conform to DD243:2004 & PD6662:2004 to obtain a new police URN (Unique Reference Number), but older systems that conform to BS4737:1986 can continue to hold police response until such a time when it is lost. Should you have an older system and loose Police response the system will need to be upgraded to conform to the latest standards in order to have it reinstated.
The cost of a URN application is currently £48.62, this is only an application charge and does not mean that a URN will be granted, although it is very rarely refused.

Argus have a skilled team who work very hard offering our customers great value for money. At Argus we don’t only look after systems we have installed our selves, but often save people time and money by taking over existing systems installed by other companies.
Argus can often take over system at a low cost and offer an improved service and value for money.
If you are interested in becoming an Argus customer but are currently under contract elsewhere, contact our sales team and we will send out a surveyor to carry out a site survey and advise you of any costs, and savings that can be made.
Bringing your custom to Argus also makes you aware of the suitability of your system, as we carry out a risk assessment for every premises we survey. We will then contact you with any recommendations to improve or maintain the effectiveness of your system.
