AMECaL's commitment to improving known procedures and its pioneering work in specialised fields such as Gloss Measurement make it an invaluable resource of technical expertise in the UK's calibration industry today.
Stephen started his career path prior to university as an electrical apprentice at the Neptune shipyard on the Tyne, just a stones throw from what is now AMECaL's multi-laboratory facility. Part of his training involved a period in the shipyard's calibration laboratory sparking a lifelong interest in calibration.
AMECaL boasts a wide and varied spectrum of calibration services encompassing the vast array of measuring equipment employed in industry today. Such Industries as the Automotive, Pharmaceutical and Food industries.
Our calibration team has many years of technical expertise in all aspects of the calibration and repair fields. That together with ongoing training in new technologies and calibration techniques brings a high level of technical ability. We constantly strive to maintain a calibration service of the highest standards towards quality, accuracy and precision.
AMECaL has built its reputation on its ability to fulfil the most stringent requirements of its customers in both technical competence and management system procedures, delivering consistently high level of customer satisfaction.
AMECaL offer a wide range of calibration services to national standards using MD's UKAS accredited calibration laboratory No 0693, and standard calibrations to individual company's requirements. Situated in Newcastle a 5-minute drive from the Tyne Tunnel, AMECaL’s central location makes us ideally located to meet the demands of our clients throughout the UK.
