Formerly owned by Euros Lewis (E. Lewis & Son Concrete) we have provided a continuous service to the community and area for many years. Agriculture, national construction companies and the general public either for self build or small projects have all benefited from the professionalism of Gamallt Ready Mixed Concrete Ltd.

Concrete is the most widely used construction material in the world and has been in use from as long ago as 7000 BC. It is composed of cement, crushed rock or gravel, sand and water, often with chemical admixtures and other materials.
Concrete is one of the most versatile, durable and cost effective building materials known to man. It is also environmentally sustainable responsible for 2.6% of UK CO2 emissions in 2002. This compares with 33% of total CO2 emissions from transport and 47% from buildings in use. Through concrete’s excellent thermal mass energy consumption in commercial and residential buildings can be reduced by up to 50% which helps to reduce greenhouse gas emissions. Concrete is completely non-combustible and has a slow rate of heat transfer, making it a highly effective barrier to the spread of fire.
We also operate from our premises Cardigan Environmental a skip hire and disposal service which provides a delivery and collection service for 6 and 12 cubic metre skips in the North Pembrokeshire, Ceredigion and Carmarthen region. Skips can be hired for a one off charge for filling and removal when ready, or on a monthly hire basis for businesses or builders. Our waste disposal service guarantees that all waste will be disposed of in accordance with all legal requirements and environmental legislation. If permits are required for placing of skips on the public highway this can be arranged. We have been providing skip hire and waste disposal for over 20 years and in that time have built up an excellent reputation for the quality and reliability of our environmental services.
