INTRODUCTION AND COMPANY STRUCTURE
Patrick McCaul Environmental Consulting Engineers, established in 1992, is a company of Mechanical & Electrical Chartered Engineers who have earned a respected reputation in the building services industry throughout Ireland. The Company has achieved this by balancing traditional engineering concepts with innovative design and modern technology.
It is a BS EN ISO 9001:2000 registered company and has gained accreditation to BS EN ISO 14001:2004 (environmental management system) and the Occupational Health and Safety Management System OHSAS 18001: As people are the Company’s most important resource, significant consideration is given to their development. Patrick McCaul Environmental Consulting Engineers is an Investor in People accredited company and a Company member of the Energy Institute.
The company currently employs 26 staff. Each design team is made up of highly professional and experienced CIBSE engineers with a high ratio of technical and support staff that provide services of the highest quality and standards. The company offers a comprehensive range of design services addressing the technical, sustainable and environmental needs of the internal and built environments.
As the company developed, and in planning for the 21st century, the Mc Caul Group was formed. The emergence of two subsidiaries, Renewable Building Technologies Ltd. and Concept Engineering Services were created to augment and develop the core mechanical and electrical building services sector in response to a developing Energy market.
ABOUT RENEWABLE BUILDING TECHNOLOGIES LTD.
Patrick McCaul Environmental Consulting Engineers appointed an Energy Manager in 1998. His role was to develop the market with regard to integrating sustainable and renewable energy systems into existing and new builds. As this sector of the business grew, and as a result of growing opportunities in the energy sector of the internal and building services industry, the subsidiary Renewable Building Technologies Ltd. was established.
The Company is a renewable and sustainable energy consultancy company made up of mechanical, electrical and renewable engineers that are supported by appropriate staffing levels of technical and administrative staff. We have expanded our services recently to include Low Carbon Design strategies, Carbon Foot Printing, Building Energy Ratings and SBEM Calculations.
We are completely independent of any manufacturer, installer or supplier of renewable technologies or traditional M&E equipment. We provide services from basic Consultancy to complete Project Management, Commissioning and Post Project Evaluation.
We are dedicated to ensuring that our clients find a tailored, cost effective and affordable solution to all their energy needs.
