At Rockingham Oak we create traditional oak timber frame buildings and specialize in the design, build and erection of green oak frames for houses, conservatories, barns and barn conversions, garages and roofs.
We can build to your design, or can provide a full design service - working closely with you and your architect to produce a complete structure. Our carpenters are experienced in working with green oak, using traditional skills to produce oak pegged jointed frames from simple to very complex designs. We look forward to working with you on your next project.
Rockingham Oak has been involved with European hardwoods, especially oak for over 50 years. We have our own 2 acre site in Market Harborough, South Leicestershire, where we hand craft our oak frames, keep a good stock of oak beams, oak flooring and kiln dried oak for joinery.
Our main staff have an extensive knowledge of timber and are very happy to give advice and guidance on a wide range of aspects relating to timber and oak framing. Although based in heart of England, we operate nationally and have delivered our products all over the UK.
Products & Services
Frames
Rockingham Oak produce hand crafted green oak frames to your design requirements. Whether it's traditional or contemporary, we can work with you to design the structure you desire.
Flooring
Beautifully machined oak flooring tongue and grooved all round, with the option of micro bevel. Kiln dried to 10%. Character Grade - Boards have sound knots up to 50mm diameter.
Beams
We keep a good stock of Oak Beams of various sizes and lengths. We can cut oak beams to your exact requirements, whether they are fresh sawn or seasoned.
Joinery
Superb quality European oak joinery including windows, doors, stable doors, garage doors, screens. All made to order and very competitively priced.
