S.R. Williamson was established in 1953 and are experienced in all forms of construction.

We specialise in the refurbishment of period properties and barn conversions. We also carry out home improvements both in the form of exteriors to properties and alterations to existing internal layouts. We are also experienced with works requiring Listed Building Consent.

All of our craftsmen have been fully trained, the majority having served apprenticeships with ourselves, meaning they are experienced in the use of traditional crafts and materials. We have also won several awards for our work including Regional Winner of Master Builder of the Year.

We have a specialist team who install Holdfire Perlite. This is a fire protection product which provides one hours fire insulation for suspended timber floors. It also meets the building regulation requirements for airbourne sound.
