- Acoustic design of performance spaces - including theatres and studios - using proven techniques and experience our staff can provide the necessary technical guidance to achieve excellent acoustic environments.
In addition we provide acoustic design services for residential, educational, industrial and commercial developments and undertake pre-completion sound insulation testing, in accordance with Part E of the Building Regulations. We regularly undertake noise impact assessments to support planning applications for residential developers, mineral and waste operators, utility companies and heavy industry etc. and we also provide risk assessment and management of noise and vibration in the workplace.
Unlike many of our competitors, we are engineers and we provide our clients with a comprehensive acoustic design and noise control service. This can include engineering design for industrial developments (recent examples include several 'energy from waste' power stations) to ensure compliance with environmental and/ or occupational noise limits. This can also include noise nuisance investigation and remediation. A recent example includes engineering recommendations to a food factory to reduce community noise emission.
