Boss Services is one of the leading equipment rental companies in the South East. Since it's formation in 2002 the company has grown organically year on year and now comprises of 5 fully serviced depots throughout the region servicing a wide and diverse customer base.

Boss Services staff are employed for their in-depth knowledge of the equipment rental and construction industries and can advise on the majority of specialist areas of rental including applications, capacities and certification requirements for plant. The depots act as distribution centres and allow for free flowing and fluid movement of stock which guarantees the customer the best possible piece of equipment.

The company prides itself on offering the widest possible range of equipment for hire enabling it to be a one-stop shop solution for customers. The product portfolio comprises some 5000 pieces of kit. In line with the ethos of the business, only the best brands are purchased enabling customers to enjoy a perfect blend of comfort and performance. Equipment includes:
Bowsers and tanks
Over 20 sorts of water and bunded bowsers and tanks are stocked by Boss Services in a host of sizes including 200, 500 and 1000 gallon capacities. Powered by a choice of electric or diesel, many of them are also towable.
Compressors and Air Tools
There is no need to look any further than Boss Services for a wide range of compressors, breakers and drills. Only the best brands are sourced including Kaeser, McDonalds and Chicago Pneumatics and are available complete with accessories for hire.
Concreting Equipment
Everything needed to complete concreting jobs is available from each of the Boss Services depots. Boat skips in varying sizes, pokers and power trowels complete just some of the offer.
Drills and breakers
Every sort of drill and breaker including rotary percussion, hammer and rock can be hired from this one stop shop and, as with all equipment available, only the very best brands including Makita, Indeco and Hilti are supplied.
Dumpers
A truly world class range of Thwaites and Terex dumpers forms an important part of the offer from Boss Services. From 1.5 tonne swivelling dumpers, through 3, 4, 6, 9 and 10 tonne machines, there is a machine to do any job out on the site. Last but by no means least a number of tracked dumpers complete the line up.
Excavators and attachments
Very often hired alongside the dumper range, a high quality line up of mini and midi size excavators from 0.8 tonnes to 9 tonnes can be sourced from each of the Boss Services depots. The Kubota and Volvo machines have excellent reliability and performance records and can be hired complete with breakers, buckets and augers depending on the job in hand.
Generators
From 3.0 - 15.0 kVA the range of Stephill generators will reliably supply power whenever it is needed. A variety of options including petrol and diesel, with or without electric start, will support any power requirement.
Grinders, Chasers and cutters
Excellent range and good stocks of these essential items can be sourced from all depots.
Mixers
Diesel, petrol and electric tip up mixers are all supplied complete with stand and mortar tubs, if required.
Plate Compactors
Boss Services supplies a variety of Bomag plate compactors in varying sizes. Petrol run single direction compactors are available in 300 and 350 mm sizes, whilst the diesel fuelled reversible direction plates can be hired in 500 and 700mm sizes.
Pressure Washers
Keeping equipment clean on site has also been given thought by the team at Boss. Our RPH manufactured cold water pressure washers, available in 2000 or 3000 PSI and either petrol or diesel driven. For the larger tasks we have a bowser complete with pressure washer.
Pumps
Hilta petrol and diesel centrifugal and diaphragm pumps, with electric start on the latter model, can be hired cost effectively alongside the full range of site equipment. Both 2inch and 3inch sizes are available complete with 20/20 hoses or a wide choice of hose fittings and couplings.
