Using the latest technologies, AFW’s in house technicians and engineers work closely with owners, developers, architects and service engineers to ensure the most appropriate specification and layout for each application, whether this is in the private/domestic or, commercial markets – a bespoke service. Project engineers manage the highly trained installation team from site start, through to completion.
Anderson Floor Warming’s Glasgow warehouse carries a vast range of Pex pipe and fittings for under-floor heating and plumbing, enabling them to provide systems for heating virtually any building. The main office & warehouse complex is located in close proximity to the country’s main motorway arterial routes thus ensuring AFW’s ability to readily service our UK network of approved installers.
Anderson Floor Warming evaluate design concepts and provide floor construction details, system specifications and highly detailed CAD-generated layout drawings in accordance with the BS EN 1264 and DIN 4725 criterion to match the project’s requirements. AFW also design advanced heating and primary/secondary plumbing systems. AFW produces system specifications and detailed layout drawings to ensure a cost-effective and environmentally efficient solution for every project, leaving every job with laminated project drawings and a bound personalised project dossier. AFW also design customised automatic control systems, making use of the latest technology to fulfil each project’s requirements. They further provide control systems ranging from simple digital programmable thermostat control to, fully optimised weather-compensated circuits integrated with commercial Building Management Systems.
Building regulations and government policies regarding energy efficiency and climate change now allow for renewable energy sources to be a more viable solution. Anderson Floor Warming have developed a wealth of experience in this area and are able to impartially advise on design integration with all heat source mediums including:

AFW consider the safety of staff and site personnel to be of paramount importance and to that end all Anderson Floor Warming installation engineers receive regular health & safety training and all hold the relevant CSCS Skills cards. All installations are carried out following completion of agreed health & safety inductions, risk assessments and method statements.
