 Choosing the right Air Conditioning system
There are many different types of air conditioning units to choose from. Typically, the system will comprise of an outdoor unit connected to one or more indoor units. These indoor units come in various types such as ducted or floor mounted but the two most common are either high level wall mounted or the ‘cassette’ units that sit flush in a suspended ceiling.
To operate efficiently, a system needs to be properly installed and the cooling and heating capacity has to be sized and calculated correctly. Oversized or undersized units cost more to operate and can do a poor job of comfort control and poor design or installation can dramatically reduce the efficiency of the system and will cost more to operate than necessary.

Multi-Split Inverter Heat Pumps are one of the most popular. The Multi-Split system usually allow from two to five wall mounted, ducted, floor mounted or ceiling cassette indoor unit heat pumps of different capacities to be operated from a single outdoor unit. This makes it an economic answer in multi-room applications.
- Mini VRF’s
With one single outdoor unit the Mini VRF inverter driven system can feed eight indoor units, and is extremely efficient yet small enough to fit virtually anywhere. It offers flexibility and control and is both powerful and compact.

These systems have the ability to both heat and cool. VRF stands for Variable Refrigerant Flow. A VRF air conditioning system modulates the flow of refrigerant depending upon the capacity requirements of the building.
