Prior to the formation of Total Home Improvement Service, one of the Directors owned a medium sized Construction Company and he recognised the many pitfalls the general public fell into when considering home improvements - mainly brought about by salespeople and their high pressure sales approach. Most salespeople are just that - salespeople - and they have absolutely no professional experience within the construction industry. Consequently, they don't always act in the best interest of the buyer, simply because they don't have the essential experience to do so. Would you really feel comfortable, and confident, in leaving a salesperson to design your Extension or Conservatory? Unfortunately, once the salesperson has done their "job" i.e. they've got your signature on the order; you probably won't see them again - you're on your own!
It was because of this disturbing state of affairs that The Conservatory & Window Advisory Service (CWAS) was created some 13 years ago (1998). CWAS now have hundreds of Clients throughout the area, and over 90% of our work comes solely from our Clients' recommendations. However, the original name of the Company - The Conservatory & Window Advisory Service - was not clearly stating the scope of the Services we offered; the name implied we were only involved with Conservatories and Windows, and so the Company name was changed to THi - Total Home Improvement Service to clarify the full extent of the Services we offer.

This Free, no obligation, Consultation with our Surveyor provides you with the opportunity to discuss your ideas and plans for your proposed project. Our Surveyor will give you the benefit of his professional experience to inform you of the facts which will affect your proposals - potential designs; planning and building regulation requirements etc. Your expectations and requirements can be discussed in detail, and all necessary measurements and photographs will be taken to enable us to prepare drawings for your approval.

All contracts managed by Total Home Improvement Services are done so through approved contractors.
For a contractor to be approved by THi they will have to meet very strict criteria, and agree to abide by our inspection and payment requirements.
