Established since 1963, Finns Conservation & Restoration Division provides specialist construction, maintenance and heritage consultancy on all aspects of repair and preservation of historic structures, monuments and churches. Our expertise includes restoration and preservation of listed properties and protected structures, masonry, brickwork, lime mortars, plastering, rendering & harling, ironworks restoration, lead, copper and zinc works, timber repair, roofing, stone cleaning, grafitti removal and protective coatings, painting, decorating and gilding.
We also provide heritage grant consultancy services, surveys and reports.
Our Steeplejack division focuses on rope access, specialist scaffolding, lightning conductor testing and installations, concrete repair, pressure grouting and stabilisation, chimney/stack refractory lining and repairs, pressure grouting, resin injection, surveys and industrial painting and masonry/stone cleaning and lightning protection.
Our clients include Waterways Ireland, ESB, PowerGen, Church of Ireland, Catholic Church, Office of Public Works, UK Prison Service, British Steel, local authorities and the Health Services Executive.
All our works are fully insured.
We are a member of the Construction Industry Federation, the Association of Specialist Sub-Contractors.
