GeoMEM Ltd. supplies borehole surveying instruments, accessories and spares as well as relevant software for borehole and blast hole logging, analysis and presentation.
With many years experience in borehole surveying and software design and development, GeoMEM provides the technical expertise, knowledge, services and support demanded by industry.
GeoMEM is the official FlexIT Help Centre for the UK and Ireland for the supply and support of the FlexIT range of borehole survey instruments.
Established in 1985, GeoMEM was an important player in the introduction and provision of specialised geological, geo-technical, engineering and environmental software from around the world to the UK and European market.
In-house development has concentrated on specialised technical software including the tool control and data processing, management and presentation software for borehole survey instrument companies REFLEX (since 1988) and FLEXIT (since 1998).
Survey Instruments:
GeoMEM supplies both the FlexIT SmartTool (SingleSmart and MultiSmart) and the revolutionary FlexIT GyroSmart borehole survey instruments. The SmartTool has been in use world-wide since 1999. The GyroSmart was launched in 2006 and is making inroads into many areas requiring a precision, low maintenance, non-magnetic survey instrument.
Both instruments have applications in engineering, construction, mining, quarrying, exploration and environmental work and are backed by an international network of Help Centres as well as service and support centres. Full details are available on our web site.

Professional Software:
GeoMEM supplies and supports proven and professional software from selected publishers around the world. These include:
Gaea-LoG (or WinLoG) borehole log application for producing a wide range of borehole logs from trial pits to long exploration holes.
WinProf is a professional, measurement database and graphics system which can be used for mapping laser survey results and borehole data. The system accepts survey data from a variety of industry standard equipment. The survey data is stored in a database file and can be displayed graphically. This data can be used for monitoring face advance from existing blasting programs and for planning of new drill patterns.
CPT-pro is a multi-module program designed for complex analysis, interpretation and presentation of CPT soundings, and also for elaborating geotechnical documentation. CPT-pro can be applied for different CPT systems data.
Surfer is a contouring and 3D surface mapping program that quickly and easily converts raw data into outstanding contour, surface, wireframe, vector, image, shaded relief, and post maps.
Virtually all aspects of the maps can be customized to produce exactly the presentation required. Surfer has been a perennial favourite in all areas of industry since its introduction into the UK by GeoMEM in 1987.
