Health & Safety Services, Training and Consultancy Ltd. (HSS) is Irelands best established Health & Safety, Training & Consultancy Organisation, providing Consultancy and Training Services to all sectors of the Irish industry. Since 1993, we have assisted many companies throughout the country with organising their Health & Safety policies and arrangements, to ensure they are compliant with legislation such as the Safety, Health and Welfare at Work Act 2005, which is applicable to every place of business in the country.
We are one of Ireland's largest Safety Consultancies, with over 30 professional and administration staff.
In 1998, we took over the operations of a health & safety consultancy business in Kilkenny City called LIFETIME SAFETY SERVICES.
In 2000 we opened our Dublin Offices.
In 2007, we opened our purpose built, state of the art, Training Centre in Newmarket, Co. Cork.
Our services include Project Supervision, Safety Management Systems, Safety Statements, Hazard Identification/ Risk Assessments, training employees in subjects such as Office Safety, Manual Handling, Forklift Training, Fire Safety and Awareness, Chemical Handling, Accident Awareness/Prevention, First Aid - certificate and refresher courses - Auditing and Inspecting workplaces.
Much of our work is of an advisory nature in assisting employers and companies to comply with legislation, general Health and Safety conditions, duties/responsibilities, dealing with legal/employer liability cases and accident reporting/investigating.
