Trailing Edge Dimmer
We now have a trailing edge dimmer in our product range. This is a 500VA (working down to 20VA) and is suitable for all types of loads. It will work with several transformers designed for leading edge dimmers. The package is the same size as our standard dimmer so beats most of the competition in this respect (most are much larger). It has soft start and is short circuit protected, also if overloaded will just shut down.
Part number is 6TEP500 or 6TER500 (push or rotary).
500VA dimmer
Our standard dimmer is now available in a 500VA version. Part number is 6SDP500 or 6SDR500 (push or rotary).
Grid Dimmers
Our grid dimmers now contain adapter plates for MK, Crabtree, MEM and DETA grid systems. So now they will fit in more systems than anyone else’s grid dimmer.
Low Voltage Operation
All our dimmers now operate with low voltage (electronic) transformers as well as mains tungsten lamps, so this reduces inventory costs because there is only one product of each type to stock.
Dimmable Fluorescent Lamps
Our dimmers (including the trailing edge) operate the new dimmable fluorescent lamps. In fact. We are recommended by Megaman® for their compact lamps.
High Wattage Dimmers
The 630W and 1000W dimmers will also work with low voltage circuits, so you have even more choice when selecting the right dimmer for the job.

 | Standard / Low Voltage Dimmer Modules
Dimmers designed for mains voltage, 220-240v AC 50Hz, and wire wound / electronic transformers. Available in both 2-way Push and 1-way Rotary versions. Built-in thermal cutout for continuous overload conditions. A 6A push switch is also available. |
 | Plated Dimmers
All of our Dimmer Modules are available mounted onto plates.
Available in White, Raised Steel and Raised Brass, 1, 2, 3 & 4 Gang.
Please make sure that plate loading rules are observed. |
 | Slider Grid Dimmers
These products are designed to fit in the four most popular grid systems using a set of adapter plates supplied. The have a push action which allows the circuit to be switched off at any position of the slider, and will operate as part of a two-way system. There are three ratings, 250VA, 400VA and 630VA. The 630VA version occupies two grid positions.

 | Light Sensors
The unit is a self contained, ceiling mounted, Passive Infra Red Detector and switch. It is mains powered and produces a switched mains output. This is a relay switch which can be connected in parallel to other switches. Adjustments can be made to on-time and lux level. The unit can be installed without the need to access both sides of the ceiling. |
 | PIR Switch
A self contained ceiling mounted passive infra red detector with a switching capacity of 16A. A novel installation method protects the ceiling and allows adjustments to be made more accurately without the unit hanging on its cable. |
