Ranley Floor and Ceiling Services has been set up with two innovative services to Ireland in the Flooring and Ceiling markets at it's core. These are HTC Superfloor (mechanically polished concrete) and Suspended Ceiling Restoration using specialist coatings.

Suspended Ceiling Restoration
The ceiling restoration process is a unique airless spray treatment specifically developed for the application of ceiling restoration coatings. Suspended ceiling restoration coatings are coatings that can be applied to any ceiling surface and associated grids without sticking tiles to grids, 100% acoustics are maintained and subjected to the class O fire rating part 6 + 7. All the ceiling restoration coatings used in the process are waterbased and environmentally friendly. As responsible companies we should all do our part to minimise our carbon footprint. Our goal is to educate commercial and retail properties to retain their ceilings over a longer period of time by having them sprayed. By adhering to this procedure we will decrease our dumping and help improve our environment, by the year 2030 the UK will have no more dumping grounds.
We use Ceilcote suspended ceiling restoration coatings in all our suspended ceiling restoration projects.
Ceilcote have launched a suspended ceiling restoration coating with Biocide anti-microbial technology. This additive is proven to kill bacteria when applied to ceiling restoration coatings. This technology is used by hospitals, schools, food industries etc to prevent the spread of dangerous bacteria.

HTC SuperFloor [Mechanically Polished Concrete]
Concrete floors deserve better treatment than just being walked on. An HTC Superfloor will really make you appreciate the advantages of concrete as an exposed floor surface. Dirty, grey floors are transformed into brilliant, easy-clean, environmentally-friendly and durable floors. It simply requires some thought.
HTC Superfloor is a refined concrete floor, grinded and polished with HTC effective machines and diamond tools. Not only is the floor aesthetically appealing, it also contributes to a better working environment. HTC Superfloor is advantageous in an economical point of view thanks to the durability and the low life cycle cost. It is the ideal floor for a wide range of applications from residential to industrial.
The HTC Superfloor process consists of five basic steps of mechanically grinding and polishing. Depending on the current condition of the floor, the process may require more steps, or even less. The first three steps prepare the floor by flattening and levelling it using metal bond grindings. These steps are crucial to ensure proper finishing and safety standards. The last four steps use resin bond diamonds for polishing. These steps seal the floor and polish it to a matte, satin or glossy finish. HTC's VOC compliant polishing method brings out the natural strength and beauty of the concrete - without harming the environment.
