Developed by Green Innovations as part of the Homeguard brand the ‘Easybleed’ removes the need for bleed keys and can be fitted to any ˝-in BSP thread in 5 minutes and requires no further maintenance.
It removes the risk of loosing bleed keys or even worse, the risk of spraying hot, dirty water over walls and carpets. When using the ‘Easybleed’ the air is released through the push of a button with just a small drop of water released when finished.
Chief Executive of Homeguard, Martin O’Donnell states that ‘like most great ideas, this is really simple in concept. Air locks are very common in the home and for a radiator to work efficiently you should really bleed them several times a year. This posed several problems from mislaying the tool to the likely scenario of rusty water spraying all over the cherished carpet. Elderly and disabled people can also have difficulties bending down and turning a key – the new valve solves all of these problems’
