Our Hunter fans are 220-240v and built to exceed all European specifications with the highest quality components which means that they are backed by a Lifetime warranty on the motor so minimum 50 years. Hunter fans will keep your house cool as they give a wind chill factor of up to 5 degrees C. It is a low CO2 environmentally friendly option as only uses 5% of the energy required for an air con unit - while using about the same electricity as a 100 watt light bulb to run compared to the 2-3000 watts required for an equivalent air con unit. They can also save on energy cost in cold weather as they also work in reverse which creates a gentle downdraft that in turn recirculates the hot air trapped at the ceiling downwards thus reducing energy costs by up to 24%.
