- Opus Energy’s Smart Meter is an advanced meter which automatically records the electricity consumption of a business in greater detail than normal conventional meters. The Smart Metering technology enables the energy company’s customers to reduce and monitor their energy expenditure – A report by the Carbon Trust states that an average organisation can reduce its energy consumption by 12.5% through the advanced metre.
