Established for over 20 years, we are a Manchester-based hire company offering services to industrial and commercial clients, and the general public.
We pride ourselves on providing a first-class, personal service to customers, offering a range of top quality, professional equipment at very competitive prices. And with our expertise and wealth of knowledge, we’re able to respond quickly to customers’ needs.
We hire hand tools, power tools and cement mixers throughout Manchester, Stockport, Lancashire, Rochdale and Oldham. We stock appliances from some of the world’s leading manufacturers including Makita, Bosch, DeWalt, Hitachi and Stihl, and wherever possible, petrol operated equipment is fitted with Honda engines for reliability.
In addition to our construction and DIY hire tool services, Marchstream Tool Hire also specialises in supplying mechanical, heating, ventilation and associated trades with a range of welding, pipe fitting and sales equipment.
We also sell a huge range of new and refurbished equipment including:

Product Sales/Hire
Whatever your task or DIY project, Marchstream Tool Hire has the equipment to make sure you get the job done! From sanding the bedroom floor or cleaning up after a flood, to preparing the vegetable plot, we’ve got the tools you need.
We hire out a wide choice of tools and equipment at highly competitive prices. Whether it’s a No. 8 wood screw, large flange square or a 300 amp diesel welder complete with HF Tig unit, we can supply the lot. We stock a full range of site welfare equipment as well, such as fridges, kettles and cleaning equipment.
As members of the Hire Association Europe, we adhere to their strict safety regulations; every item of equipment is provided with full written safety instructions and is cleaned and tested after each hire to ensure that it goes out to the next customer in tip-top condition.
With a fully equipped workshop, we carry out all our own repairs on site, on time and within budget. We also quote customer tools for repair.
The easiest way to order your equipment is by telephone booking. Simply tell us your requirements and we’ll reserve equipment for the time and date specified. When you collect or order by telephone or fax we need to see two forms of identification (one showing your address) and a small deposit. You can either collect from our showroom or have them delivered direct to you.
