As a design and build company with a great deal of professional experience in both areas, the result is an efficient, smooth operation throughout the contract.
In addition, we also carry out the supply and installation of Curtain-Walling, Patent Glazing, Entrance and Window Systems, Roof-lights and Canopies.
Glass Blocks
As the approved supplier and installer of Saint Gobain Glass we can supply and install Solaris glass blocks which are available in many patterns, sizes and colours. All blocks are manufactured from two hollow moulded glass sections which are then sealed together to give a hermetically sealed glass block.
Glass blocks can be installed to achieve a fire rating with standard glass blocks achieving 60 minutes integrity and insulation of 15 minutes. A greater insulation can be achieved by using Solaris BSH glass Blocks.
Walls can be constructed straight or curved to any shape and to any radius.
In addition Glass Blocks can provide excellent security, sound proofing, and thermal insulation, as well as ease of maintenance.
Glazed Canopies
Any type or size can be provided to suit your own requirements, and can be manufactured from an aluminium framing system, or Stainless steel sections, and can be glazed with single or double glazed glass or polycarbonate units.
Watchrod Design & Build Ltd are called upon to provide canopies and rooflights which are non-standard and one offs which other companies cannot assist.
We can provide budgets prior to carrying out a site survey, manufacturing and the installation.
Shop Fronts
Watchrod Design & Build can supply and install all types of Shopfronts be it polyester Powder coated Aluminium framing, Polished timber, Satin Stainless Steel or all glass construction.
We can provide assistance from preparing budget to the final completion.
Interior fitting-out can also be taken on board from ceilings to flooring, lighting to wall shelving, cupboards to counters.
We can obtain all approvals to enable us to design to your own requirements and budgets, thus making use of materials to provide a unique finish.
Pavement Lights
We can provide and install La Rochere pre-cast pavement lights / smoke vents to any size & shape using glass lenses in hollow or sealed units, which are available in 8 different sizes to give either an insulated panel or a non insulated panel.
All panels can be manufactured with a finish to match any surrounding areas.
In addition panels can be provided with ventilators in lieu of lenses to vent basements and other areas where permeate ventilation is required.
All panels have been tested to obtain loadings required by Local Authority and the LFCDA.
Pavement lights can also be provided on a supply only basis to enable the general contractor to install.
