Advanced Housing Systems specialises in the design and construction of timber frame buildings, using a proprietary, advanced closed panel technology, North American post and beam methods or a combination of the two. We operate throughout the U.K, Southern Ireland and the Continent.
The majority of our clients are individuals who are building their own homes. They want to live in a home that fulfils their exact requirements, both in overall appearance, as well as in room sizes and layout and specification. For this reason we do not have 'standard' designs, each of our projects is a one-off; and with each new client we start with a blank canvas. We are there to offer advice and make suggestions, but never to impose, in that way you will be leading the design process and it will be truly your home.
Advanced Housing Systems' expert knowledge of products, coupled with our expertise in engineering and construction allows us to build homes that others can only dream of, we do not set limits on our clients and so the result is often homes that are innovative and striking. That's why houses from our team have been featured so often in the media such as Grand Designs and July 2008 Build It.
To achieve a quality home requires not only good design but also first-rate components. That is why we use high performance triple glazing and internal joinery. We also insulate our frames to category 6 standards (the highest), which means that our clients will be living in thermally highly efficient homes that are kind on the pocket as well as the environment.
