Asbestos Related Training 80 Twenty Projects can provide you with high quality asbestos related training throughout the UK. Whether you require multiple sessions throughout the day or just the one we will find the best solution to your needs. 80 Twenty can provide Asbestos Awareness training at your offices at prices you can afford.
We provide the following types of training for your staff:
Asbestos Awareness - It is now a legal requirement to provide suitable training for any employee that may come across asbestos during their normal daily duties.
Non-Licensed Asbestos Removal - This training course is for people who intend to work with asbestos that does not normally require a licence. It incorporates the training requirements set out in the Approved Code of Practice (ACOP) L143 and Health & Safety Guidance (HSG) 210.
BOHS - Proficiency module P402 - The course is suitable to all those who need a minimum qualification to prove competence in surveying for asbestos within buildings.
PASMA Mobile Aluminium Access Towers - The PASMA certification is the most widely recognised qualification for use of all mobile towers. It is recognised by the Health & Safety Executive and satisfies the ''Provision and Use of Work Equipment Regulations 1998 (PUWER)'' and the ''Work at Height Regulations 2005.'' Asbestos Surveys & Sampling At 80 Twenty we have a broad range of experience at surveying within a variety of property types. 80 Twenty can provide the following types of survey:
Asbestos Management Survey (former Type 1 & 2) - This is a legal requirement to complete for any non-domestic premises (built before the year 2000) in the UK. It is also required to be completed for any communally accessible locations of managed domestic properties.
Refurbishment & Pre-Demolition Surveys (former Type 3) – Required for refurbishment and demolition works. This type of survey is a prerequisite for any CDM project.
Asbestos Sampling - If you have identified suspect materials in your premises, as part of your duty to manage you are required to either presume the material contains asbestos or alternately have a sample taken. We can help you with this.
Asbestos Management Plans With experience of a wide variety of clients, ranging from large international corporations, housing associations to small local businesses, 80 Twenty Projects can provide a bespoke Asbestos Management Plan tailored to meet your individual needs.
