Regulations Compliance
We specialise in helping our customers comply with current health & safety, D.D.A. and building regulations. Our specialist access division install permanent colour contrasting, slip resistant, step nosing’s and treads, tactile warning surfaces and portable or permanent ramp systems.
Anti Slip Systems
Anti slip treatments for tiles, terrazzo, granite and porcelain should be able to increase the slip resistance without dramatically changing the appearance or make the floor harder to maintain.
JSE Contract Services use a unique, moisture reactive treatment that chemically bonds into the surface pores of the substrate that instantly reacts when it comes into contact with moisture.
Even the moisture on a wet shoe or foot is enough to trigger the reaction.
This system is not a coating, not an acid etching product and once the floor has been treated there is no cure time or drying time required, so the floor can be walked on immediately.
The anti slip treatment can be applied both internally and externally in almost any environment to create a long lasting slip resistant surface.

Slip Testing
It is important you know how slippery your floors are as you have a duty of care to make sure that floors are not slippery so that they put peoples safety at risk.
We provide a comprehensive on – site consultancy service regarding slip issues on any surface, and carry out slip resistance tests using equipment tested and approved by the H.S.E and UK Slip Resistance Group.
Even the most slip resistant surface can become slippery if not correctly maintained, so testing floors in-situ can identify many factors that identify the slip performance of the flooring material E.G. cleaning regimes, maintenance, wear or weathering and traffic patterns which can all affect the performance of the flooring material.
The prevention of slip accidents should never be comprised and a proactive not reactive approach should always be adopted to prevent accidents before they happen.
We also carry out tests to samples of your flooring in house to assess the suitability of the flooring type and can advise on a wide range of slip prevention solutions for any surface.
Non Slip Surfaces
JSE Contract Services provide one of the most comprehensive ranges of safety surfacing solutions in the UK.
We believe that short term solutions or quick fix answers are not the correct approach when dealing with the prevention of slips.
No matter what the surface or environment we can provide tried and tested solutions that will last for years.
Many of the coatings we apply have non slip additives added to enhance the slip resistance or the surface but we only use aluminium oxide / bauxite or industrial diamond, which are nearly as hard as diamond and will outlast any product on the market.
All our systems are fit for purpose and designed to meet the specific demands and requirements of the surface and environment where it will be used.
