The founders of Ambient Hire have 35 years experience in the fire and flood restoration industry. Ambient Hire was set up to fill a gap in the market for low cost hire of dehumidifiers and drying equipment. The vast majority of hire companies and flood restoration companies charge very high rates to hire out drying equipment- typically at least £60/week plus delivery and vat for a small industrial dehumidifier. At Ambient Hire we have set our prices for dehumidifiers starting at £22.50/ week. This has proved to be a hit with our customers and has encouraged us to expand our range of products to include low cost hire of portable air-conditioners, heaters, air sanitisers and a small but growing range of equipment for the construction industry.
We keep our prices low by keeping our overheads low. We rely on our web site to generate business and will not waste money on costly glossy paper brochures and numerous regional branches. Our headquarters are based in Gateshead, Tyne and Wear from where we dispatch all our equipment throughout the UK on a sameday or next day delivery.
Unlike our competitors we do not charge an additional 5% damage waiver insurance premium. The price you see is the price you get. Insurance for damage is included in the hire price.
We stock huge quantities of dehumidifiers, airmovers and high velocity fans to dry out any flood situation from a house to a large industrial unit. We also hire out other equipment used in flood restoration including pumps, extraction machines, carpet cleaners and moisture meters.
