We have been carrying out fencing and hoarding contracts for the construction industry and government authorities for a number of years as well as providing a high quality and value for money domestic fencing service for the local community. We are based in Harrow, Middlesex which is on the border of Central London. The majority of our work is based within the M25 motorway, however, we have also carried out contracts as far afield as Leeds, Cardiff and Birmingham to name just a few.
We would welcome enquiries from new customers and can assure you that when dealing with Boundary Fencing Contractors Ltd, all of your fencing requirements, from high security, to hoardings, to domestic fencing can be dealt with by us. We also supply and hire Heras temporary fencing systems (see security fencing link) on a short or long term basis. Our large fully stocked yard enables us to commence work on site, without the need of lengthy lead-in times. From our shop/yard we also retail fencing to the trade and general public. We deliver materials throughout London and the home counties on our own fleet of vehicles.
School Fencing
We can offer our considerable experience in helping schools attain government funding for security fencing for site protection.
While improvements to our education infrastructure is bringing clear benefits to our communities, strikingly little attention is being paid to security.
Site Hoarding
- Worksites should be completely fenced to prevent public access.
- The standard height of hoarding should be 2.4M, plywood faced timber framed boundary hoarding for normal security and noise limitations.
- A higher standard may be required in some circumstances.Hoardings should not end in sharp edges for reasons of pedestrian safety.
Garden Fencing
Your garden should be a peaceful, relaxing place for you to enjoy. You can also make it a secure place that will help to protect you and your home from intruders. You should put up a strong fence to make it harder to access your back garden. You could have a fence made from panelling or railings. The fence should be a minimum height of 1.8m/6ft (if the height of the fence including trellis is taller than 1.95m/6ft 6'' you may need local planning permission). Trellis should be firmly fixed with screws. Strong enough to support a climbing plant but not a climbing intruder!
Security Fencing
The purpose of any perimeter security fencing system is to prevent the entry of unwanted trespassers, vandals or thieves.
