The Lifting Gear Products hire division offers a wide range of top quality brand name lifting equipment from Kuplex, Morris, JDN, Tirfor and Yale delivered throughout the UK.
Everything you hire from us is supplied with our total quality assurance, fully tested, certified and ready for use.
Hoists, Winches, Clamps, Chain Slings, Pull Lifts, Jacks, Wire Slings, Rams, Blocks Shackles, Tirfors, Load Cells available to hire next day delivery.
On-Site Examinations & Testing
All Lifting Gear Products employees on site test and inspection work are fully qualified in the examination and testing of all types of lifting equipment, including fork lift trucks and passenger or goods lifts.
Our specialists accept the statutory regulations as minimum standards of safety and performance. Inspection and testing teams are fully equipped with static load weights, load cells, laser level and measuring equipment to confidently perform these functions.
We provide:
• Proof load testing and certification of lifting equipment
• Legislated periodic inspection status reports and maintenance of statutory tackle registers, specialised surveys of cranes, gantries and runways.
• A thorough professional service in all aspects to comply with the Lifting Operations and Lifting Equipment Regulations 1998 (LOLER)
Test House
It is a legislated requirement of the Health and Safety at Work Act (1974) that following any repairs or modifications to lifting equipment, the equipment is checked, proof loaded (where necessary) to certain predetermined specifications before being brought back into production.
Our test house is fully equipped to meet these specifications with resources that include:
130T Tensile Machine, 100t Jack Testing Machine, 20T Chain Block Test Rigs, Dead Load Test Facilities.
These proof load testing resources are backed by the LGP Quality Assurance Scheme and are operated by fully qualified personnel. Non destructive testing includes:
• Magnetic Particle Crack Detection
• Dye Penetrant Crack Detection
• Hardness Testing
• Ultra-Sonic Testing
