Established by Ray Canter, a factory trained Heidelberg service engineer, & his wife Pam in 1977 to help printing businesses with their service/maintenance needs on Heidelberg presses. The business has grown over time & now has both mechanical & electrical service engineers, in house engineers reconditioning Heidelberg presses. We are also now selling more & more parts for presses which are available as supply & fit or supply only.
The partnership now in its second generation at the helm with his son Shane Canter & his daughter Lisa Sullivan in charge of the day to day running of the business.
We are always looking at improving areas where we feel we can offer a service to help our customers, one of those being an agent for Kompac Technologies - formally part of Varn International; we are now the UK’s largest Kompac agent & the sole supplier of the new Kompac Kwik Finish UV coating & curing system. We also carried on our relationship with Day International who took over Varn & supply their chemicals.
New since 2009 is our e-commerce shop, set up to offer our customers the option to be able to find the part that they require & order it day or night, seven days a week where ever they are in the world.
Payment is secure using a payment gateway provided by PROTX, a division of Sage UK Ltd, PROTX VSP Systems is encrypted using 128-bit SSL certificates. The shop initially only has a selection of the parts that we can offer so if you can’t find the item you are looking for you can either send us an email or give us a call and one of our sales team will be more than happy to help.
Whether you are looking for a press in 'as is' condition or a fully reconditioned press looking & performing like new, we will endeavour to find & supply the right press for you. We carry out all the refurbishing work using our own in-house at our works unit in Calne, Wiltshire.
The Ultimate
If you are looking for a press that will look as impressive as it performs then our fully reconditioned presses are what you are looking for. All presses are stripped & cleaned & assessed for wear. Worn parts are replaced & once the press has been reassembled it is re-sprayed. We also carry out a full electrical assessment including all motors & compressors. All reconditioned presses are installed with a full six months parts & labour guarantee.
Cleaned & Checked
Will suit a company who need a press to work hard & look impressive but do not require the complete attention to detail that comes with a fully reconditioned press. The press is stripped, cleaned, any repairs carried out, & re-sprayed. All cleaned & checked presses are installed with a full three months parts & labour guarantee.
Site-to-Site
If you are looking for a good press but are on a budget then a press supplied to you direct from a printer would probably best suit your needs. We will use our database to find a press to fit your requirements. Once we have found what you are looking for we can carry out a report on the press & report back to you. If you would like to proceed with the purchase we will remove the press & install it for you & carry out a print test.
Peace of Mind
We are able to supply all our presses with a service contract that will give you the peace of mind that the press is kept up together & keep any scheduled down time to a minimum. Please see our Service page for more details.
Our guarantee is only valid for presses installed in mainland UK.
