The company has Public Liability insurance of £5million and Employers Liability insurance of £10million.
HDL have a wide range of experience in demolition projects acting both as the Principle Contractor and Sub-Contractor, and are familiar with developing the Health and Safety Plan, preparing our own method statements and risk assessments and associated health and safety requirements for each project.
Commercial/Industrial and Residential Demolition
We have experience in demolishing large and high industrial complexes and office blocks to smaller residential homes. Each project is personally assessed by our Senior Management, guaranteeing that the correct method and equipment is used throughout. We strive for perfection, ensuring that only the highest standards are delivered.
Interior Stripping
Activities include the removal of all floor coverings, temporary floors and ceilings, non-load bearing partitions, mechanical and electrical systems.
Asbestos Removal
Hazardous material surveys and the removal of notifiable and non-notifiable asbestos, either as part of a demolition package, or as a separate package for building refurbishment.
Crushing
Our extensive plant and machinery inventory includes a range of concrete breaking and crushing equipment to suit all types of project.
For new developments, concrete crushing operations are often carried out on site to remove reinforcing steel and to provide hard core and aggregates for new construction.
Crushing
Our logistical department plans the removal of all salvageable and waste material from each site using our own fleet of vehicles, plant and skips.
Decommissioning
HDL are equipment to carry out complete demolition of buildings and structures with underground tanks and canopy removal together with soil and ground water decontamination.
