JGS electrical are enrolled with the National Inspection Council for Electrical Installation Contracting (NICEIC) as an Approved Contractor and are assessed annually to ensure compliance with BS7671.
NICEIC enrolment ensures we are able to self-certify our work which is now a requirement of Part P-Building Regulations. We have been assessed for health & safety compliance by The Contractors Health and Safety Assessment Scheme and are CHAS registered.

Electrical Installation Condition Reports
(Formerly Electrical Periodic Inspection Report)
The importance of regular inspection and testing of electrical installations cannot be overstated. It is now a requirement of the Regulations that electrical installations are regularly inspected & tested in accordance with BS7671.
JGS Electrical can carry out Electrical Condition Reports (EICRs) at competitive rates in order to ensure that an installation remains in a satisfactory condition.
The process involves thorough testing of the installation to establish whether any defects exist. Any observations made will be recorded within the EICR with an appropriate code to determine how serious the non compliance is. These observations determine whether a satisfactory or unsatisfactory report can be issued.
