The workmanship and the stability or durability. It is likely you will only want to order your gates once.
We give you a choice: Our handcrafted gates can be either 70mm or 90mm thick. They are extremely hard-wearing and can last a lifetime. Apex Gates are fully handcrafted and can be delivered for self installation or we can install complete with opening systems throughout the whole of Europe.
We use a frame, leg and brace system to hold the gate true and minimise unwanted movement.
Our extensive experience in Oak Framing ensures a quality product with excellent customer service and the option of installation.
Apex Oak Contracts Limited started trading as a limited company in 2006.
We are primarily an online company and most of business is either repeat clients, referrals or new business from the online community.
We produce Oak Gates, Green Oak Timber Frame Buildings, Bepoke Oak Roof Truss Designs, Oak Conservatories and soon - Oak Frame Shepards Huts - just because we love 'em! : )

We therefore endeavour to make sure every project, whether for a large construction company or small self-builder, is delivered to the highest standards and stand the test of time.
Apex Oak has been a member of TRADA the Timber Research and Development Association since before we registered as a limited company. We believe that having access to current research and methods is vital in giving our customers the best possible handcrafted products.
We make no secret of the fact that we do not always build our products in the UK. We can if this is very important to you, however we have a few carefully sourced carpenters that we have personally visited and have an exclusive agreement with to produce our products.
This is not all about cost - but usually about the best workmaship for the specific project.
Where are we headed? We are now researching and developing a number of new areas in our business. As we are passionate about design and construction in Oak, and moving forward with sustainable development, we are looking into the synergy between Strawbale and Green Oak Construction. The rest of our ideas we are keeping to ourselves!
