L.G. Contracting Ltd. was formed in 1991 to carry out small private and public sector building contracts. Initially we specialised in the installation of suspended ceilings and internal partitions. In 1993 we acquired our current base in Ballinderry, Lisburn which is situated 4 miles north of Junction 5 of the M1 motorway.

In 1999 we achieved accreditation of the ISO 9001 certification. We continued to expand and commenced manufacturing of Portable Accommodation Units, eventually achieving ISO 9001 in this area. We are now agents in Ireland for the world renowned Solatube®, the Miracle Sky Light ®.

We believe we are currently in a good position to provide a first class service to our many clients and are well placed to handle the ups and downs of a business environment.


Suspended Ceiling Restoration
Based in Lisburn, County Antrim we clean commercial and industrial properties to a high professional standard. We use specially suited chemicals to remove dirt and grime from building exteriors. So no damage or flooding that may occur with power house usage.

Various sizes of starter units
  • 9m long x 6m wide – complete with one pedestrian door and 3m high x 3m wide roller shutter door.

  • 18.5m long x 7m wide – complete with 4m wide x 3.6m high electric operated roller shutter door and one pedestrian door at one end of unit, with an electric operated 3m high x 3m wide electric operated roller shutter door at opposite end of unit.

  • 10m long x 7m wide complete with 3m x 3m roller shutter door and one pedestrian door.

All units wired with fluorescent lights and double plugs on all walls. We have various sizes of jacklegs cabins in yard for self storage.

Passive Fire Stopping
Fire stopping is a fire protection system made of various components used to seal openings and joints in fire resistant walls or floors.

Fire stops are designed to restore the fire resistant rating of a wall or floor, by impeding the spread of fire by filling the openings with fire resistant material.

Fire stopping is applied where services and cables have penetrated fire rated compartments or barriers to comply with current building regulations.
