Solar Panels - Domestic Hot Water.
There are two types of panel - Flat Plates and Heat Tubes which can be attached to the roof or suitable other location, such as a garden or side wall.
Energy from the sun is transferred to a heat transfer fluid which in turn warms domestic water via a coil in the hot water storage cylinder. The system can produce up to 70% of a household’s domestic hot water requirements.
