Already an established company, Tradewood have been an industry leader importing timber sheet materials for more than 25 years. An opportunity was seized to develop a new product line that would answer the constant evolution of building practices and construction codes but also keep in line with today’s ‘green’ theme. Hence the Resistant brand was formed.
RESISTANT’s new age medium density Magnesium Silicate board is a highly durable Non-Combustible board resistant to Fire, Moisture, Sound, Impact and Thermal. The board will not rot and can be used as an alternative to Chipboard, Plywood or wood based cement particle board. With our extensive range of boards, we are able to satisfy most application requirements and constantly strive to further enhance our product line. Furthermore, RESISTANT drive their commitment to sustainable and green manufacturing incorporating materials from sustainable sources and using a low carbon manufacturing process. We sell our product to a selected list of distributors and stockists serving both the retail and trade building material supply markets throughout the U.K. and Ireland.
Apart from accepting a variety of painted / polished finishes, RESISTANT boards provide an excellent compatible surface to a wide range of finishing materials. The acceptance of RESISTANT in the highly competitive international market stands testimony to its superior attributes:
