 | Fabrication & Machining
We offer the facility to Design, Fabricate and Install overhead lifting Equipment, in particular overhead cranes, swing arm jibs, runway beams, lifting and spreader beams, anchor points etc.
We also offer a Machining and Welding facility for 'one-off' jobs. |
 | Non Destructive Testing
Crane Upgrades MPI (magnetic particle inspection) In this method the component is magnetised by passing it through a coil or by attaching electrodes and then sprayed with a solution containing iron filings in suspension. A crack or imperfection near the surface of the component will distort the magnetic field and attract the iron filings. |
 | Proof Load Testing
A proof load test is required on any piece of lifting equipment that is new, repaired, modernised or relocated. These tests should be made in accordance with the relevant standards or the manufacturers instructions.
