Our objective is to provide a professional, competent and competative service to our customers. We consider our company to be environmentally responsible in handling refrigerants and strive to install environmentally friendly and efficient equipment. We encourage customers to have in place a planned preventative maintenance contract, to ensure their equipment is always kept in optimum condition, and to avoid unnecessary expensive costs to repair. As a company we prefer to use recycled stationery and electronic data transmissions to reduce the cost to the environment.
Trace Air Conditioning was established in 1992. The Company has grown over the past few years and now has engineers covering Surrey, Hampshire and Berkshire.
The company installs, maintains and services all makes of air conditioning units for offices, restaurants, pubs, clubs, bowling alleys, shops, hospitals, universities, schools and colleges. Our customers range from small, one-man offices to buildings with multiple units.
All engineers are ACRIB registered and have attended established professional courses and gained certificates in refrigerant handling, health and safety, risk assessment and manual handling. We have on going training programme to keep up with the ever changing work ethic.
We are registered with REFCOM No 1000270, and The Environmental Agency to carry hazardous waste.
Services
Planned Preventative Maintenance.
We value all our customers and each contract is individual and tailored to meet your needs. You may require 1, 2, 3 or even 4 PPM visits per year, depending on the usage of each room.
Regular maintenance of your air conditioning equipment cuts down the costs of break down call outs and replacement parts that may be required.
Installation
We can quote for air conditioning from all major manufacturers, we are Daikin and Mitsubishi approved dealers and installers. Please see our main website for connection to Space Airconditioning.
Refrigeration
We can now offer competative prices on all Foster's refrigeration equipment.
Energy Efficiency
From April 2010 we will be able to offer an energy efficiency survey and report service.
What is PPM?
Planned Preventative Maintenance is scheduled maintenance that is carried out on a regular basis to ensure the efficient running of your air conditioning and to prevent breakdowns occuring to your valuable, and in some cases essential, air conditioningsystems.
The amount of visits per year and the times of the visits are agreed with the customer. A numbered maintenance sheet is filled out during each visit and any problems are recorded for the customer’s information. If there are any major problems that need to be addressed, then a full report is written and submitted to the customer for their attention and any action to be taken.
If you value your air conditioning system, and to uphold the manufacturer’s warranty, planned preventative maintenance needs to be carried out. It will also extend the life of the equipment, ensure efficient running and cut down on the amount of replacement parts required.
The Terms and Conditions of sale of equipment from most manufacturers state that the warranty will only be upheld if a maintenance contract is taken out.
Filter cleaning is the most important maintenance item, as this stops the filters becoming blocked with dust and other airborne particles which interfere with air flow and can reduce efficiency.
