NoiseAssess provides noise assessments for planning applications for residential and commercial developments such as assessments under PPG24. We carry out noise surveys, design noise control measures and provide noise assessment reports for housing, industry, supermarkets and other retail developments, pubs, restaurants, clubs and other entertainment venues, mixed use developments, waste recycling and energy projects, including wind farms and many other types of development. |

Building Regulations
NoiseAssess is an approved Sound Insulation Testing organisation operating under the ANC Registration Scheme with registered testers carrying out the sound tests required for signing off residential developments with Building Control. The company also provides sound insulation design advice to meet Building Regulations Approved Document E. |  | Industrial Noise
NoiseAssess carries out environmental noise surveys for industry and provides noise control advice for meeting planning and licensing / permit requirements (IPPC) or to address statutory noise nuisance action.

New and existing entertainment venues often require noise assessments for planning or licensing or when noise nuisance complaints are received. NoiseAssess provides advice on control of noise breakout or noise transmission to other parts of the building and produces reports for submission to the local authority. NoiseAssess carries out noise and vibration monitoring for contractors and provides construction noise and vibration assessment reports for all kinds of building sites, waste disposal sites, quarries etc. The company also has an instrument hire service for contractors wishing to carry out their own monitoring during a period or site works (e.g. for piling works). |

NoiseAssess carries out acoustic assessments for schools under BB93 and for hospitals and other healthcare facilities under HTM08-01. For offices advice is given on acoustic privacy between areas and control of noise intrusion. Advice can be provided on obtaining acoustic credits under BREEAM. Monitoring and noise assessment is carried out for sporting events such as motorsports and for airfields and transportation noise from highways and railways. |
