Odournet is an independent technical consultancy that specialises in odour analysis, assessment and control.
We have over 25 years experience assisting industry to investigate and solve odour related problems such as nuisance, and achieve compliance to the regulatory requirements imposed by planning and environmental licensing (e.g. EPR, IPPC etc).
Our experience includes over 5000 individual studies conducted for just about any industry that has the potential to generate odour. This includes anaerobic digestion plants, agriculture, abattoirs, chemical plants, composting, food production, fragrance production, landfill, and wastewater etc.
We are recognised international experts in this area and senior members of the Odournet team are closely involved in development of odour assessment methods through BSI and European CEN working groups.
All of Odournet’s activities are conducted to the highest possible quality standards by experienced and fully trained staff. Odournet’s sampling and olfactometry services are accredited to ISO17025 by UKAS and consistently exceed the requirements imposed by European round robin tests. All of Odournet’s consultancy services are conducted in accordance with ISO9001: 2008 and undergo rigorous peer review.
Odournet UK Ltd is also the only company in the UK to offer a fully ISO17025 accredited service for odour sampling and sensory analysis.
