All the characteristics of natural stone and slate with the advantages of modern building material.

Greys Artstone reproduction stone and slate products are hand crafted to give an authentic roofscape. Detailed moulding, a choice of colours, and a range of sizes create a coursed and diminishing stone slate roof. The glass fibre cement construction provides a light yet durable roofing material. An easy to lay format and a range of compatible products, including ridges and in-line ventilation systems, create an extremely versatile and cost effective alternative to natural products.

Reproduction Stone
Each individual slate is hand crafted using moulds taken from stone slate originals. As with natural stone, shades vary with no two slates being identical. This combined with the surface detail and hand colouring ensures a truly authentic roofscape. Greys Artstone roofing slates have been designed in consultation with professional roofers and architects, to achieve an easy to lay slating format, resulting in a coursed and diminishing stone slate roof. Each Slates is constructed from glass reinforced cement producing a strong and durable slate weighing only 75kgm2. Their construction allows them to be cut easily without cracking or breaking and looks like stone when cut. The main advantages being considerable savings on labour and roof timbers, approximately 15%.

Advantages
• Weight 75kgm2
• Easlly cut without cracking or breaking
• Looks like stone when cut
• Light weight saves on labour and timber costs
• Weathers like stone not concrete

Reproduction Slate
As with our stone products each individual slate is hand crafted using moulds taken from natural slate originals. The fine edge detail and textured surface combines with realistic colouration to create an attractive alternative to natural slate. The tensile strength that results from glass reinforced cement construction allows the slates to be cut easily, without cracking or breaking and offers a 33% saving in weight compared with the natural equivalent.

Advantages
• Weight 30kgm2
• Sizes 600mm x 300mm (24”x12”)
• Indented to facilitate either 75mm or 100mm headlap
• Under eaves and under ridge slates (no cutting)
• Slate and a half available
