How do renewable energies Work?
Most of us these days are aware of the need to preserve the earth’s natural resources and to reduce our carbon footprint and everyone in the current economic climate everyone is keen to save money. Switching to Solar Power, Wind Power or Heat Pumps generates your own electricity from sunlight or wind can achieve both of these goals.

In simple terms solar power is the conversion of sunlight into electricity or heat. There are two ways in which this can be done; by means of photovoltaics (PV) or via concentrated solar power (CSP). Concentrated solar power systems direct sunlight into a small beam by use of mirrors or lenses and tracking devices. Photovoltaic solar systems (PV solar systems), which are mostly used in homes, work by harnessing the electric field created by light shining on a specially installed solar panel. The more light there is, the greater the flow of the electricity.
