Unlike other contractors, we don’t hide behind the statement "we use the most advanced material available" as this statement is normally used by someone using car/marine paint which is not fit for purpose.
Chip Repairs
Chip repairs to all forms of sanitary ware, on a variety of different surface types, where we provide a method of repairing a damaged area back to its original appearance without the need for a long, lengthy and often costly alternative.
The repairs are achieved by removing all loose and detached material with the use of a miniature drill. The area is then filled using hard wearing and water-proof filler, which is then sanded level and flat to the original surface. An colour-matched waterproof paint is then prepared on site and air brushed over the relevant area to give a seamless appearance making the damaged area is no longer visible.
The ability to achieve these results on site and in only a few hours means that the client is not left without access to a bath or shower for up to a few days while a number of tradesman are co-ordinated to replace the damaged product with a new one. While the individual cost for a new bath or shower tray may appear cheaper, once other factors such as removal, tile damage and the need to have a plumber disconnect and reconnect the relevant services are taken into account, the cost can quickly spiral.
All our repairs are achieved to a high standard, at a fraction of the overall cost of other methods and with minimal disruption to the client.
Tile Re-grouting
The re-grouting of a tiled bathroom area, shower or kitchen splash-back can dramatically improve the appearance of the given area at a fraction of the cost and hassle for other rectification methods. Re-grouting is often considered when the appearance of the tiled area has become tired and dirty or the grout has become mouldy and discoloured, to the point where household cleaners are no longer effective.
Re-grouting involves the removing of existing grout, spraying an anti-bacterial and anti-mould agent on the re-grouted surface and then replacing the grout with new anti-bacterial and anti-mould grout. This will improve both the look and the cleanliness of the given area and provide long lasting resistance to the build up of mould.
Re-grouting has many benefits over other methods of remedying these particular problems:
- No removing and disposing of existing tiles
- No cost for buying new tiles
- No cost for the use of plumbers to disconnect and reconnect services
Silicon Sealing and Renewal
Often around the edges of surfaces, baths and showers silicon sealant will deteriorate over time, becoming less water resistant and prone to allowing mould to form along the surface. Renewing silicon sealant that has become discoloured and covered in mould growth will prevent these mould spores from spreading and enhance the appearance of the specific area.
We use a method by which all silicon is removed, whether it appears effected by mould or discolouration or not, an anti-mould and anti-bacterial agent is then applied and once dried a new, clean anti-mould and anti-bacterial sealant is then installed.
