Manufacture
DEL has liased with several clients on how they should re-arrange their factory to get the most out of the space and machinery on hand.
The methodology behind any new layout is simple, to get the product to “flow” through the factory as easily as possible, with the minimum amount of handling. It was generally found that as factories expand, and new workshops are built, the layout becomes haphazard, with unnecessary forklift trips. By re-arranging what is done in which workshop to minimise transport journeys between workshops, the efficiency of the flow from raw material to painted final product is greatly increased.
Through through-put analysis and new layout planning of the workshop, DEL can offer tailored solutions for your factory.
Costing Service
With the fluctating costs of fabrication in insurance through to raw material costs, it is of paramount importance to have the costs of the products broken down and set-up in such a way that they will automatically adjust to fluctations in manufacturing costs.
DEL can offer a detialed cost analysis for fabrication, allowing the customer to see exactly what each component costs to manufacture, and what impact cost fluctations has on the product, ensuring that the customer is not undercharging for their product.
Qualifications
DEL's engineer is qualified to honours degree standard and is a chartered engineer with the Institute of Mechanical Engineers. In addition, to chartered status, DEL's engineer has achieved EUR ING status, a european wide professionally recognised qualification.
Customers can be safe in the knowledge that all work undertaken by DEL is being completed to the highest possible standard by a professional engineer.
