Supply Chain Green Solution Award Open For Entries

Skanska's quest to find the best green solutions on the market continues with the launch of the 2012 award.

For the third consecutive year, the supply chain is invited to enter Skanska's Green Solution award which recognises creative green products and ways of working.

Sustainable Procurement Manager Nick Baker said: "the annual green solutions award is a fantastic opportunity for Skanska to find out more about the valuable green products and processes that our supply chain can offer.

"Over the next few weeks we'll be contacting our supply chain, but we need everyone at Skanska to spread the word and encourage them to take part."

Last year's winner, the RACUS® Ceiling Tile from Datum Phase Change, was used for the LEED Platinum green retrofit of Skanska's own Hollywood House office, Woking.

Open to all current and prospective members of the supply chain, applicants should apply by 31 July 2012.
